Test on phone shows the draft of a face lens on a real phone, over its front camera, before you publish. The phone follows your edits as you make them. Nothing is published, and no app receives the draft.
Test on phone is for face lenses. A screen effect plays in the studio's own phone-screen viewer instead.
A "TEST — draft" banner shows the time left. Below the picture, a button for each host event the lens listens to lets you send that event. Face triggers react to your own face: open your mouth, smile, blink.
You don't sign in on the phone. Tracking and drawing happen on the phone, and the camera picture is not uploaded.
The page checks for a new draft every 3 seconds. When the draft changes, the lens restarts on the phone and the page says "Draft updated".
A link works for 30 minutes from when you issue it. Editing doesn't extend it, and it can't be renewed.
A test link shows the draft to whoever opens it. It never changes what apps receive: the delivery API serves published versions only. When the lens looks right on your phone, choose Publish. See Versions, latest and pinned.
Important: Anyone who has the link can see the draft until the link expires. Share it only with people who should see unpublished work.
The link under "For debug app builds" is an API address:
curl https://mirage-api.ingevora.com/v1/test-links/<token>
It needs no API key: the token in the address is the credential. The answer holds the lens id, the draft's manifest as the next publish would write it, a map from each image name to its URL, and the time the link expires. It answers 410 once the link has expired, 404 for a link that isn't valid, and 429 when one address asks more than 120 times a minute.
